We know there’s plenty of ways to spend money on your Universal Orlando Vacation but there are lots of ways to save money too. We’ve decided to set aside a few of our favorites that are easy, simple, and make a huge difference in what you spend on your trip!
Shop for tickets during non-peak times! Not only will visiting during the non-peak times result in better ticket promotions but also typically less guests in the park. If these aren’t enough of a reason to keep this in mind also remember chances are hotels may be cheaper during this time too. Buy your tickets online in advance. They’re cheaper if you buy them online and saves you time from having to stand in line at the gate and having to wait for tickets. Also, shopping for your tickets online allows you to see the promotions and specials that are running for multi day and park to park tickets.
As we just talked about with non-peak season hotels typically being cheaper there are other perks too. Obviously, staying at one of the on-site hotels you get early park admission. That gives you an additional hour of park time which is worth a fortune when it comes to making the most of your day. The premier hotels aren’t always more expensive either if you do the math on the perks. In addition to the early admission if you plan on getting Express Passes the premier level hotels include Express Pass for each guest included in the booking.
Take advantage of the free water throughout the park by bringing a collapsible cup with you. If you don’t have a taste for water then consider the Coca-Cola Freestyle cup. It seems expensive but depending on how many times you plan to refill throughout the day it can save you a lot of money!
If you’re really wanting to save some money and don’t have a list of foods you want to try in the parks then bring your own snacks and food into the parks. Maybe you just want to budget to eat one meal in the park per day then bring some other snacks to eat throughout the day.
